When will you be offering Windows Server VMs and/or SQLServer databases?

Thank you for developing GCE! We have been wondering if the intent is to offer GCE at a discounted rate for university researchers and educators? Would Google please seriously consider that?

In echoing Gaurav's question I am curious what, if anything, this means from the perspective of our community. We are happy to develop free software for secure communications, and even are happy to see such services deployed in clouds. As we focus on facilitating secure peer-to-peer media, there is no direct disadvantage to doing so. But I do not see us being able to do anything with this as presently offered or in supporting those who may on their own wish to experiment with it.

Is the Google Ganeti Project used for GCE?
