One thing: Alex Komoroske needs to slow his speech down a couple of notches... many blurred syllables. As a native English speaker I had difficulty understanding everything being said. Or perhaps Alex had a cold when he recorded these :)
The first code example drives me absolutely nuts. If you don't want to understand the simplest HTML then I am not impressed by replacements that only work in Chrome.
You want a label next to a checkbox that changes when you click it? There is no need for JavaScript at all:
So the web platform is better because in the near future it will be able to (almost) do what native platforms have been able to do for years?
ReplyDeletebut beacuse it's easier develop in html than develop in java or objective-c too.
Delete...and it means cloud-based devices (such as ChromeBook) can do more and more the same thing as standalone PCs and the like.
