Out of all the Google APIs, Chrome Extensions is far the best API I have seen. So much could be done makes it really nice to work with.
The Hangouts API is rich and nice to work with. Still the most requested developer feature, networking, is missing, which doesn't allow us to do real time collaboration (nature of hangouts).
Google+ API is really weak, developers can rarely do anything with it, just read your activities and profile. It needs a lot more love, if you would want developers to invest more time in helping improving it. We waited for 7+ months already :)

ReplyDeleteWhats the reason behind disallowing write access? Seems backwards, almost closed door policy. Nevertheless, good luck with the Hackathon.
